Just a reminder, particularly to the girls aspiring to the show--
An audition for a show is not a straight-up talent competition. You may be the loudest belter, but if the directors are looking for non-belting, you may be passed over. You may be the best actor in the room, but if you're three feet too tall for the role, it won't matter. And some days it comes down to how well you work/look with the other performers.
All you can do is show us the best of what you've got. What we have to do is figure out how that will fit in our picture of the show.
I'm hoping for Annies and orphans who are natural and believable. I'm more interested in real than in big. And I'm hoping for many men, or at least many more men than we sometimes get, because there are many manly roles to fill.
Now let's go have two days of fun!
